For Immediate Release: Heritage Auto Repair was awarded the 2008 Southwest Idaho Integrity Counts! Better Business Bureau Award this evening at a gala banquet held at the Boise Centre on the Grove.
The purpose of the award is to recognize businesses in our surrounding communities for demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ethical business practices. The Better Business Bureau and KeyBank sponsored the program.
To receive the award, a company is first nominated by customers, employees, vendors and the community at large. According to the BBB, an independent panel of 17 community leaders, coming from a variety of business backgrounds, reviewed materials submitted by each organization to determine the list of recipients and honorees. Each of the twenty-three businesses nominated were showcased at the banquet.
Heritage Auto Repair was chosen the winner in the small business category. They were recognized for their high value of integrity in the marketplace and their commitment to treating each customer and transaction in an ethical manner.
Tony Zanders, owner of Heritage Auto Repair, says that one of the things he constantly reminds himself of is the fact that Heritage Auto Repair will always be “serving customers” not “just fixing cars”. This commitment to put the customer above the transaction is a cornerstone that Heritage Auto Repair will continue to build upon.
